The Peruvian karting star will make his debut in single-seater racing at the wheel of a Campos Racing-run Tatuus T-T-021 car

Campos Racing is pleased to announce that talented karting driver Andrés Cárdenas will step up to single-seater racing to contest the 2023 Formula 4 Spain Championship. The Peruvian emerging star will drive a Tatuus T-021 car in Campos Racing colors alongside previously announced Jesse Carrasquedo Jr, Noah Strømsted and Enzo Deligny.



Cárdenas, aged 14, is a gem of on the international scene and will now take a step forward in his racing career by making his debut in the Spanish Formula 4 Championship.



The Peruvian driver has made history for his country as a karting driver winning the Rotax Max Challenge Perú and finished Vice-Champion in the Panamerican ROK Cup Challenge. When he moved to Europe, his list of achievements continued growing. He was runner-up in the Champions of the Future Winter Series in 2022, besides he also won the gold medal in the FIA Motorsport Games 2022.


Last but not least, Cárdenas is part of Fernando Alonso’s A14 Management just like Nikola Tsolov, who took the F4 Spain title with Campos Racing last year.



The new addition to the roster of Campos Racing will make his official debut in the series next 5-7 May at Spa-Francorchamps, which hosts the season opener.
