2021 BMW I BERLIN E-PRIX PRESENTED BY CBMM NIOBIUM (RD14)

- Lucas di Grassi sealed home-win for Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler in the BMW i Berlin E-Prix presented by CBMM Niobium. The Brazilian driver started third on the grid behind DS TECHEETAH’s duo Jean-Éric Vergne and António Félix da Costa. The lead trio split by less than a second over the first third of the race. The DS TECHEETAH drivers then lost out to di Grassi and René Rast, who flew from 12th to second position.
- Lucas di Grassi seals home-win for Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler in the BMW i Berlin E-Prix presented by CBMM Niobium after securing victory in the first of two races on the final weekend of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
- The Brazilian put in a red-hot performance in the searing heat of the German capital to force himself into title contention, with ROKiT Venturi Racing’s Edoardo Mortara finishing second and Jaguar Racing’s Mitch Evans taking third.

- The Brazilian driver started third on the grid behind a front-row lock out by DS TECHEETAH’s Jean-Éric Vergne and António Félix da Costa.
- The results sees Jaguar Racing rise to the top of the Teams’ Standings with 171 points, followed by DS TECHEETAH and Envision Virgin Racing in third.
- Mercedes-EQ’s Nyck de Vries failed to finish in Berlin but remains first in Drivers’ Standings ahead of the final round of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The Mercedes-EQ driver is followed by Edoardo Mortara, while BMW i Andretti Motorsport’s Jake Dennis sits in third.

LUCAS DI GRASSI (BRA)
"To win the race here means a lot to me and Audi, I’m super happy. Everything is fully open going into tomorrow's race, we’re going to try as hard as possible to win both races and I’m sure if we win tomorrow, we will be there to win the Championship."
ROKIT VENTURI RACING
EDOARDO MORTARA (CHE)
"Today was a great result for the team but also for me. It’s put us back in title contention for tomorrow’s race. We have to stay quite grounded and not be too happy because we still have to work a lot for tomorrow and hopefully we can celebrate more then. We have had really good races this year, we found a lot of race pace compared to last year and I’m always confident when we go racing.
The problem is that Lucas Di Grassi is always very tough, he’s managing very well and unfortunately, I knew it was going to be difficult in the last laps to overtake. But I tried to put him under pressure and tried to push him to make a mistake which he didn’t, but we’re still very happy with P2 and let’s go on for tomorrow."
JAGUAR RACING
MITCH EVANS (NZL)
"It was a good race, we had strong pace throughout the whole race. It was just trying to find the right time to do the long attack. I think we timed it well, I just had to use up quite a bit of energy to do some of those overtakes and I think that hurt me a little in the end with Norman Nato fighting behind me. He did a great job, and I just hung on in the end.
But it feels good to put ourselves back right in contention with the Championship. I’ll be in Group 1 tomorrow so that’s going to be tricky, but as some of the drivers proved today you can make it into Super Pole. We’re going to have to tune her up and go again tomorrow and hopefully we have some strong pace to finish off the year."
