Fuel efficiency is an increasingly important factor when it comes to buying a new car, whether petrol or electric. How long will a full tank or full charge last? What is the environmental impact?



New research from Budget Direct looks at the fuel and charge economy of some of the best-selling cars, to reveal the ones with the longest driving range.



Electric Vehicle sales are on the rise, but how does their driving range match against petrol and diesel cars?

🚙 EVs had an average range of just 395km, compared to vehicles fuelled by petrol or diesel, which had an average range of 869km.


🔋 Tesla is leading the way in driving ranges as they dominate the top five spots. Tesla Model S 100 kWh comes out on top with a driving range of 647km on a full charge.
