Eight Porsche cars will compete in the opening round of the 2023 Porsche Sprint Trophy Thailand (PSTT) as the Thailand Super Series (TSS) returns at Chang International Circuit this weekend.
 


Launched in 2018 by Thailand Super Series and Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific, PSTT provides a great platform for Porsche drivers of all levels in Thailand and the Asia-Pacific region to experience the thrill of racing.
 


In the GTM class, a trio of Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) will take part in the event, including 2021 and 2022 champions and brothers Tanart and Munkong Sathienthirakul. The duo will look to get their title defence off to a strong start in Buriram in the #15 Mongkol Motorsports machine. AAS Motorsport will enter Kantadhee Kusiri and Nattachak Hanjitkasem, while Am pairing Sye Wai Chan and Wei Fung Thong will race in the Fire Monkey Motorsport car.
 


Joining them will be a pair of Porsche 991 GT3 Cup (991.1). Jakraphan Davee and Phaophong Chanchalia return for Alpha Factory Racing Team by Pulzar, with PT Maxnitron Motorsport fielding Silapa Teeraniti and Grant Supaphong.
 


Iaro Razanakoto and Chanon Asavasangsidhi make up Porsche’s sole entry in the GT4 class, competing in B-Quik Racing Team’s #88 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, while Putera Adam takes to the 4.554-kilometre track in AAS Motorsport’s Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport in the GTC class. Finally, Sontaya Kunplome completes Porsche’s healthy list of entries in the #8 Racing Spirit Thailand Porsche 997 Cup Mk.1.
