Team McLaren Mercedes completed a productive day of testing at the Circuito de Jerez, with Pedro de la Rosa topping the timesheets with a 1m17.293.
With less interruptions to running from red flags, both Pedro and Alex completed their planned programme for the third day of the test, with the Spaniard covering 82 laps in a MP4-20 fitted with a V10 engine. Pedro's work focused on tyre comparisons with Michelin.
Fellow test driver Alex Wurz put in 78 laps of the circuit an the interim MP4-20B V8, and was tenth fastest, with a time of 1m20.107. The Austrian was working on engine and set-up development programmes.
Both Pedro and Alex will be present for the final day of the test tomorrow in Jerez.
