Pre-season testing continued apace in Jerez today, with Pedro de la Rosa and Gary Paffett completing over 680 kilometres in total at the Spanish circuit.

Michelin tyre testing dominated the days running as the team prepares for the change in tyre regulations for 2006.

Pedro was the second fastest driver of the day in his MP4-20 V10 with a 1m16.733, just over one hundredth of a second off Rubens Barrichello in a V10 Honda. Team-mate Gary was in 11th, having put in a time of 1m19.605.

30 minutes from the end of the session, Pedro suffered an engine failure on track, which led to the running being red-flagged for a short period of time. The engine had covered close to 1,500km.
