THE AUTHOR Editor of "MotorSport" magazine from 1934 for some 50 years, 'Bill' Boddy is a name familiar to generations of motorsport enthusiasts. William Boddy went to the Brooklands Track in 1927 and was with Brooklands Track & Air for two and half years from 1931. He also wrote for aviation magazines and was employed by MAP at Farnborough for the duration of World War 2, working on Air Publications. William has three daughters and has lived alone since the death of his wife. He is still a regular contributor to "MotorSport" magazine as its founder editor.
