Ben Sulayem Meets Heads of German and Italian ASNs to Support Participation in F4 UAE

On the sidelines of the 4th annual FIA Sport Conference, Mohammed ben Sulayem, President of the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE (ATCUAE), and President of Emirates Motor Sport Federation (EMSF), meets with Hermann Tomczyk, President of German ASN and Angelo Damiani, President of Italy ASN to support participation in the F4 UAE scheduled to start in October.


The FIA Sport Conference, taking place from 21st to 23rd of June in Turin, Italy, gathers FIA ASNs and stakeholders from all over the world to meet, discuss and learn, aiming to inform and educate the FIA community, with input from some of the best and brightest in the world of motor sport.


“We are keen to attend the Annual FIA Sport Conference, which is an ideal platform for motorsport pioneers to meet and discuss the prospects and challenges facing the sport worldwide over the next decades and the best practices that guarantee the development and sustainability of the sport in GGC countries and the Middle East Region” said Ben Sulayem.


“The UAE has a proven track record and a prestigious position in this field, starting from its qualified infrastructure to host international events such as the F1 and FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup to the wide experience and professional skills in managing these events, our priority at this stage is to sustain what have been achieved and build on it.


 On the sidelines of this event, we are working to support participation in the F4 UAE, the largest FIA championship in the Middle East that attracts drivers from 15 years old and above” added Ben Sulayem.


Considered to be the hub of motor sport thought leadership, the event will gather delegates from more than 100 sporting clubs and a variety of other stakeholders and will focus on the bigger picture thinking, such as the direction of the sport and emerging trends.


The conference’s theme for this year is “Passion and Innovation: The Past, Present and Future of Motor Sport”. It traces a line through the sport from its very beginning, through today, and on to what will make it a success in the future.


The conference agenda comprises of a number of interactive workshops including a workshop about developing affordable and sustainable motor sport facilities.


The event will also see the inauguration and a visit of FIA Sport MotorEX, featuring industry representatives offering products and services linked to the organization, safety and innovation in motor sport, as well as focusing on the direct interest of ASN delegates in organizing and developing motor sport on a national scale.
