B-Quik Racing will be at the Bangsaen Grand Prix 2019 next week (29 Aug – 1 Sep) with 6 cars entered across 4 categories with the key focus being centered on two Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo racecars in the premier category, Super Car GT3, where we lead the Drivers’ and Teams’ championship standings coming into the event.

It will be the first time we have fielded two “Evo” specification cars, having run one during the opening two rounds.
The Bangsaen Grand Prix – held annually around the historic resort/fishing port of Bangsaen which is located 90 km from Bangkok – is the absolute highlight of the Thai motorsport calendar. This year’s event forms the third round of Thailand Super Series 2019.
Highlights for the Bangsaen Grand Prix 2019:
• Henk Kiks and Daniel Bilski drive our new #26 MY2019 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo and the Dutch-Australian pair will be looking to defend their lead in the Super Car GT3 championship and add to their stunning tally of 2 overall wins from 4 races so far this season as well as 4 wins from 4 races in Super Car GT3 AM.
• We will hand a racing debut to our recently delivered #2 MY2019 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo with Sandy Stuvik and Martin Rump teaming up once again after they raced together during the last round of Thailand Super Series at Chang International Circuit (where they drove our Audi R8 LMS Ultra GT3).
• Sandy gave the new car its shakedown at Bira Circuit on 7 August, his first time in the car, while the programme for the day was competed successfully. This will be Sandy and Martin’s first time racing in Super Car at Bangsaen and while Sandy has plenty of track knowledge from competing in the 6 hour endurance race previously it will be Martin’s first time ever on the street circuit.

• With 2 new MY2019 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo racecars in Super Car GT3, B-Quik Racing will be looking to retain its lead in the Teams’ championship standings.
• The B-Quik Junior Programme will have 4 cars and 5 drivers in action across 3 categories. Adisak Tangphuncharoen and Pongtanu Kamsai will be entered in Super Eco and it will be the young drivers’ second time in Bangsaen while it’s the same story for Jerasak Kongplab who returns here for a second year in Toyota Motorsport. Pongtanu and Jerasak both scored podiums on their Bangsaen debuts last year so will be looking to repeat that. Narin Naeosathon and Sathaporn Veerachue will team up in TA2 Thailand, the former drove our TA2 car here last year while the latter will be making his series debut in Bangsaen.
• B-Quik has a superb record on the 3.7-km Bangsaen Street Circuit. The highlight being a record breaking 8 consecutive wins in the premier category, Super Car GTM, between 2014-2016.
B-Quik Racing is supported by B-Quik, Michelin, Mobil 1, Bendix, Yuasa, NGK, Liqui Moly and STI and WAC Car Detailing.
Bangsaen Grand Prix - Drivers/Cars:
Henk Kiks/Daniel Bilski (#26 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo) – Super Car GT3
Sandy Stuvik/Martin Rump (#2 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo) – Super Car GT3
Narin Naeosathon/Sathaporn Veerachue (Dodge Challenger TA2) – TA2 Thailand
Adisak Tangphuncharoen (#26 Honda Brio) – Super Eco
Pongtanu Kamsai (#25 Honda Brio) – Super Eco
Jerasak Kongplab (#26 Toyota Vios) – Toyota Motorsport

Henk Kiks: (#26 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo): “Bangsaen really is the big one, the race everyone in Thailand builds up to all year and it’s the same for us, it’s the highlight of the year. This year though is a little different as we have big fish to fry, we have to focus on managing our advantage in the Drivers’ and Teams’ championships, we need to emerge from this most unforgiving of circuits with the maximum points we can achieve.
We will also have a second ‘Evo’ for the first time so that means another step up for the technical team as we need to introduce and integrate this car smoothly and quickly, and Bangsaen isn’t the ideal first choice for that sort of task. Anyway, I’m looking forward to the races immensely and of course we will be targeting the top step of the podium.”
Daniel Bilski: (#26 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo): “It’s been a long break since the last TSS race in Buriram, but our team is primed and ready for the showpiece event of the year, the Bangsaen Grand Prix. We’ve had a really strong season to-date in the new #26 Audi R8 LMS Evo, but we’re taking nothing for granted. We are hyper focused on the 2019 Team and Driver Championships, and no one in the team is underestimating the challenge ahead.
Even though it’s a very special event, the approach to Bangsaen is unchanged from Buriram and Sepang. Maximum commitment. Maximum effort. Leave nothing behind in the push for P1. I can’t wait to see everyone in the team, and to strap into the #26 Evo for the first time on the streets of Bangsaen. Eyes forward. Game on.”

Sandy Stuvik (#2 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo): “I’m very excited to be racing at Bangsaen with the brand new Evo. We had a very productive test day at Bira a couple of weeks ago and I got a good feeling of the car. Now I’m more excited than ever to be back on track at the most beautiful circuit in the world. Hope to see a lot of spectators there to cheer on myself and B-Quik Racing! See you all in Bangsaen.”
Martin Rump (#2 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo): “Bangsaen is certainly going to be a highlight of the season. Racing on a street circuit is always special. Add to it the warm support from Thai spectators and the exciting characteristics of the circuit, and you’ll end up having something truly memorable. As we’ll roll out the second of our new Audi R8 LMS 2019 cars, we’ll be as competitive as ever — B-Quik double-trouble!”
Narin Naeosathon (#26 Dodge Challenger, TA2 Thailand): “I'm very happy to be back in Bangsaen with TA2 again. This year, I have been racing in different style circuits. Bangsaen is my favorite circuit, it's beautiful and unique. I had an experience with Camaro last year so I know this street circuit is very challenging for the TA2 racecar. However, I expect to get a better result and will do my best to get on the podium.”
Sathaporn Veerachue (#26 Dodge Challenger, TA2 Thailand): “I’m very excited for the upcoming race. I have raced here with the Brio and this is my first time with Dodge in Bangsaen. I think the Bangsaen circuit is quite narrow, tight and looks not easy for a big body muscle car so I have to prepare myself and learn about racing lines. I hope we get a good result here.”
