Romeo Ferraris is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Philipp Eng for the 2021 season.
The Austrian driver, born in Salzburg on February 28, 1990, is the latest addition to the poker of aces that the Opera-based team will field at the wheel of its Giulia ETCR by Romeo Ferraris as from the next PURE ETCR round in Denmark, in the Copenhagen street track.
Eng is an established professional in the world of motor racing, with successes in single-seaters, namely Formula BMW and Formula Two, and wins in GT from a very young age, first in the Porsche monobrand trophies, then as an official driver for BMW M Motorsport.
Eng is also a multiple 24 Hours winner in Spa and Daytona, and impressed also in its DTM career. For the Munich manufacturer, Philip is a reserve driver in Formula E, and has always shown great interest in electric mobility, which makes him a perfect choice for the the Giulia ETCR by Romeo Ferraris project. Eng will take part in the remaining rounds of the 2021 PURE ETCR season.
