The Giulia ETCR by Romeo Ferraris ready for the hot Hungarian challenge of the PURE ETCR
19.08.2021: The Romeo Ferraris is ready for the challenge of the fourth round of the PURE ETCR 2021 season. After the triumphant high in the previous round in Copenhagen, where the Giulia ETCR by Romeo Ferraris took a double win with Philipp Eng and Luca Filippi.

The Romeo Ferraris is ready for the challenge of the fourth round of the PURE ETCR 2021 season. After the triumphant high in the previous round in Copenhagen, where the Giulia ETCR by Romeo Ferraris took a double win with Philipp Eng and Luca Filippi.
The two are confirmed to drive the car that has imposed itself with superiority in Denmark, while the arrival of Gigi Ferrara is expected in the second car.
The driver from Bari, who already competed in the last two races of the 2018 FIA WTCR with Romeo Ferraris cars, is back to action on the international scene due to the absence of Oliver Webb, because of the date clash with the Le Mans 24 Hours where the Englishman will be competing. Ferrara will have the important task of bringing points for the constructors' classification, sharing the seat with Rodrigo Baptista.
Digo, with 149 points, is the best Romeo Ferraris driver in the Drivers' standings, lying in fifth place while after the double podium in Copenhagen, the manufacturer of Opera is second in the championship with 350 points.

“The few last days have been very intense. We arrived in Denmark with a very heavy heart due to the death of my father Aldo, and we left with the joy of having paid tribute to him in the best way that could honor his memory and his commitment to this project.
This weekend's challenge in Hungary is equally important, not only on a technical level, because it will be the first circuit in which the PURE ETCR will compete directly with other categories, but also because it will allow us to verify what the values will be on the field after racing on a street circuit in Denmark.
Furthermore, Budapest represents the home race for our partners this season, M1RA, who obviously will want to do very well in the eyes of the public and the local institutions”.
