It still felt pretty bitter last night, but on the other hand you have to say the team gave it their best. We showed that we can still do it and that the new car can also do it from its performance. Yesterday's race was very wild from many points of view, including one car we had to suffer from and one retirement.
The second retirement, again in the lead, of the #98 Catsburg / Edwards / van der Linde / Wittmann (BMW M4 GT3) obviously hurts even more. After six hours due to a technical defect, that's tough. But we knew that the car is in its first year and that not everything is 100 per cent reliable. From that point of view, we take it in our stride and know that we have shown a good performance and the drivers have shown a good performance. The car has potential and we are already looking forward to the next race weekend."
