The Saturday’s leg of Rally Estonia has come to an end, with changeable weather in the spotlight again. Persistent rain made the competition on extremely fast gravel special stages even more difficult. Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Maciej Szczepaniak gather pace, finishing the day with third-fastest time on SS18! The Polish crew hold sixth position in the WRC2 standings.



Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Maciej Szczepaniak continue their efficient and fast performance, avoiding major problems. The LOTOS Rally Team duo set fifth-fastest times on three stages and capped off the day with third-quickest result on the final test – consolidating their sixth position in the WRC2 category.



– It was a crazy day, full of changeable conditions, plenty of jumps and high speeds. Our rally car is a bit battered, so it was very exciting. On the second loop we were driving in deep ruts and I have to admit that I have probably never experienced anything like that before. It went quite well in the afternoon and some stage results made me smile. Now it’s time for Sunday – basically one long loop, without any service break. As always, we will do our best and I will try to push the pedal to the metal all the time – says Kajetan Kajetanowicz, the LOTOS Rally Team driver.



Sunday’s leg consists of Raadi (6.58 kms), Kanepi (16.48 kms) and Kambja (15.95 kms) stages. Lack of service break ahead of the second loop will be an additional challenge for the crews. The competition ends around 14:00 CET.
