GS B-Quik Autowerks headed for 25 Hour Super Endurance in Buriram 14.12.2022: B-Quik Racing is pleased to announce that it will team up with Autowerks for the Idemitsu 25 Hour Super Endurance 2022, which takes place this coming weekend (17-18 December) at Chang International Circuit, Buriram.

B-Quik Racing is pleased to announce that it will team up with Autowerks for the Idemitsu 25 Hour Super Endurance 2022, which takes place this coming weekend (17-18 December) at Chang International Circuit, Buriram.
 


This twenty-five-hour race has drawn huge attention, is causing huge excitement in the motorsport community and is set to become one of the most significant races of the year.
 


GS Battery B-Quik Autowerks Racing is delighted to be taking part with a roster that blends our star GT3 names, drivers with vast endurance racing experience and a trio of our promising junior programme drivers.
 


In the #426 Honda Jazz we have put together a six strong driver line-up that we believe can chase class victory.
 


First off, our GT3 stars – and a week after being crowned Super Car GT3 Drivers’ Champion for 2022, Malaysian Akash Nandy will swap the #25 Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II he shares with Sandy Stuvik in Thailand Super Series for a Honda Jazz in Class D4.
 


Akash, who also won Malaysia’s Rotax Max Senior Championship this year and then went on to represent Malaysia in the Rotax Max Challenge World Finals in the autumn also has plenty of experience racing B-segment cars to call upon as he’s taken part in the Sepang 1000 km three times.
 


However, our other GT3 star name in the #426 Honda will be jumping fresh into small capacity cars. Eshan Pieris is a young driver that joined us for the first time this year to race the #26 Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II and he arrived with a big reputation. Once he got up to speed, he really delivered what we expected and we’re very excited for the future of our Sri Lankan hotshot. Racing in the 25 Hours will be a whole new ballgame for Eshan and he’s raring to go.
 


Next up is highly experienced Malaysian racer Aaron Lim. He brings a wealth of experience to the line up having raced previously in single seaters such as Formula BMW, Formula Renault V6 Asia and A1GP as well as in touring cars and he can count on huge endurance winning experience having emerged victorious overall in the Sepang 1000 km twice (handily in terms of building up car knowledge he won once in a Honda Jazz and the other time in a Honda City) while he also lists a class win at the Sepang 12 Hours on his impressive CV.
 


Supporting the trio of star international drivers will be three of the best drivers from the B-Quik Junior Programme. Adisak Tangphuncharoen has been racing in TSS Super Car GTC and TSS Super Eco this year as well as the Toyota Yaris One Make Race and Honda City Hatchback One Make Race series while he’s on a fast track to GT3 level.
 


Attapon Kaewarsa (TSS Super Eco and Toyota Altis One Make Race) and Sathaporn Veerachue (TSS Super Showroom) make up the young driver trio.
 


All three junior drivers have been racing in the RAAT Thailand Endurance Championship for the past few years so are very used to racing long distances.
 


Then in the #420 Honda City will be a very well rounded and experienced line-up, Warren and Andrew Adulayavichitr, Prakhun Phornprapha, Philippe Meyer and Nanin Indrapayoong.
 


B-Quik Racing has partnered with Warren and Andrew for a long time, most recently they raced a Porsche 991 GT3 Cup under the B-Quik Autowerks banner in Super Car GTM.
 


The roster in the #420 City has plenty of experience of the Super Endurance event to call upon, this will be their third time of entry, last year they finished P2 in D4, so will be looking to go one better this time around. These guys are hungry!
 


The Idemitsu 25 Hours Super Endurance 2022 will go to green lights at 1600 on Saturday 17 December and the chequered flag is scheduled to be waved at 1700 on Sunday 18 December.
