The 2022 season saw 680 drivers taking part in 313 TCR-sanctioned races that were valid for 35 championships/series and were hosted by 98 circuits in four continents.

The drivers came from 55 different countries, with the largest contingent being the Italian with 65 representatives followed by those of Germany, Taipei and UK.

The podium of the most active drivers is topped by Mike Halder, who totalled 33 starts between the TCR Europe and TCR Denmark championships. Behind him, Isidro Callejas took part in 30 races through parallel campaigns in TCR Europe and TCR Spain, one more than Tom Coronel who took Gold Medal in the FIA Motorsport Games on top of his participations in the FIA WTCR and TCR Europe.

It is also worth mentioning the fourth-placed Sergio López who put together 26 starts jumping from TCR Italy to TCR Europe, Coppa Italia Turismo and FIA Motorsport Games where he represented Colombia.

Looking at the race wins, Callejas topps the list with 11. The young Spaniard scored 10 victories out of 15 races on his way to clinch the title in TCR Spain and added a remarkable win in TCR Europe's Race 1 at Spa-Francorchamps.

René Münnich totalled 9 wins in the Emirates, where he was crowned champion in the TCR class of the ProCar Series, while Mike Halder completes the podium with 8 wins, seven in TCR Denmark and one in TCR Europe at the Norisring.
