Organization of meetings
The Formula Le Mans Championship is a chance to take part in different meetings around Europe.
Seven meetings will be held during the season:
- 5 two-race meetings as a supporting event to the LMS rounds with: A free practice session of 60 minutes
2 qualifying sessions of 20 minutes each
2 one-hour races
A compulsory driver change will be made during each race.
- A meeting as a supporting event to the 24h du Mans
- A 3 or 4-hour endurance event at the end of the season.
Categories of drivers
2 drivers per car are allowed out of the following categories:
* - Juniors
* - Gentlemen Drivers
* - Well-known drivers
Only one well-known driver is permitted per car.
Private test sessions
The Formula Le Mans will organize 2 private test sessions before the beginning of the season and 4 other sessions during the Championship. The schedule will be available soon.
Summary of the Technical Rules
The cars taking part in the Formula Le Mans Championship will be strictly identical and may not be changed.
The engine and the shock absorbers will be sealed.
3 possibilities will be suggested for gears along with 3 sets of springs and stabilizer bars.
The differential adjustment and the body height will be stipulated.
Only two new sets of tyres will be permitted per meeting.
Sale of parts and technical support
At each meeting, a spare parts sale service and technical back up will be provided for the competitors.
Technical checks
Compliance checks will be done by a technical steward after the test sessions and the races.
Hospitality
We are currently looking into the possibility of setting up a motor-home where competitors and partners could invite their clients and have lunch.
Teams Relations
We will regularly send the Teams information, both general and technical in nature.
Media coverage
Agreements for TV image production are currently being negotiated.
Our press attaché will be responsible for relations with journalists to promote the championship.
