• Stellantis present at two of the most important events in the RV sector: the Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs in Paris – Le Bourget and the 61st Caravan Salon Düsseldorf.

It also confirms the strategic decision of the Group to reinforce its investment and development of the leisure vehicle segment, led for many years by the Group's brands.

The Recreational Vehicles (RV) market is experiencing a strong interest, as demonstrated by visitors and exhibitors’ figures of the two most important events in the sector, both attended by Stellantis: The Caravan Salon Düsseldorf – hosted from August 28th to September 4th - and the Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs in
Paris, which took place from September 24th to October 2nd. Figures that are close to pre-pandemic levels and evidence of a market experiencing a full recovery.



Last week, Stellantis - with its brand FIAT Professional - took part in the Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs in Paris Le Bourget. Here, visitors had the chance to drive the Ducato-base motorhomes in a dedicated test area.



The Group was also present in Düsseldorf, where its lively, varied stand was a major attraction and a point of reference for enthusiasts and converters. For the first time, vehicles from four different brands – Fiat Professional, Citroën, Peugeot, and Opel – were all exhibited together.



An unprecedented decision, made to highlight the ability of the Group to meet the needs of a highly diverse customer base, maintaining the level of excellence that has made all Stellantis brands undisputed leaders in the past years.



Launched during the Caravan Salon, the “family for families” concept is a perfect match for the Stellantis strategy, whose now-expanded line-up aims not only to consolidate its leadership, but also to expand into new segments in the RV industry. Always attentive to evolutions in the market, Stellantis is now developing a solution for a compact camper van: a versatile and modern vehicle designed to meet a recent development in demand. In fact, users are now younger than they used to be, with reduced requirements for space: they look for a more agile vehicle for both recreational needs and everyday use.


Stellantis' focus on the RV sector is also demonstrated by the decision to dedicate part of the production capacity in Gliwice, Poland, to the manufacturing of camper bases. Production capacity is therefore strengthened, as these vehicles were once produced only at the Sevel plant in Atessa, Italy.


Finally, investments in technology are proceeding unabated, in search of the balance between environmental sustainability and performance. In turn, Stellantis already has the capability to meet the demand for BEV vehicles in the RV sector too. In any event, work continues in parallel on the evolution of diesel engines that comply with the regulations.
