VW Polo Cup- Thrilling race for Liebenberg and Kruger, Robertson returns

Bradley Liebenberg and Jeffrey Kruger (ZA) have long been looking forward to this weekend: The two overall leaders met for the fifth race in the Polo Cup at the Zwartkops Raceway.
However, the return of 2017 Polo Cup winner Devin Robertson (ZA) caused all sorts of confusion: He claimed pole at the first attempt and held on to that position until the end of the race.
Liebenberg and Keegan Campos (ZA) finished in third place. Jeffrey Kruger crossed the line in seventh, handing the overall lead to Liebenberg.
The starting order for race two was determined by drawing lots, resulting in pole position for Liebenberg and fifth place on the grid for Robertson. During the race, he was able to overtake Chris Shorter, Jeffrey Kruger and Keegan Campos as he continued to chase Liebenberg.
Robertson crossed the line 1.3 seconds behind the leader, while Keegan Campos claimed third place. Devin Robertson was the overall winner of the weekend.
