Absolute Racing is delighted to announce that Vicente Floirendo and Markus Winkelhock will rejoin the team to compete with a state-of-the-art No.55 Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II in the upcoming 2023 season of the TSS The Super Series by B-Quik.
 
 

Multi-awarded Filipino racecar driver Vicente Floirendo, who is returning for his second season in Thailand with the team, has already made a name for himself as one of the most talented gentleman drivers in the series.
 
 


Vicente Floirendo expressed his excitement for the upcoming season, stating, "I am thrilled to rejoin Absolute B-Quik Racing for another season. Absolute B-Quik Racing’s full team of professionals provides me with the support and guidance to perform at my highest level. Having Markus as my teammate instills confidence in me and motivates me to continue improving. We'll be working hard for podium finishes this year. I can't wait.”
 
 


Joining Vicente Floirendo once again is German top GT driver Markus Winkelhock, a former Formula One driver, and an all-round racing legend. The Audi Sport driver took part in the last two races of the 2022 season, partnering with Vicente Floirendo, and achieved a pole position, multiple overall podium finishes, and a GT3 Pro class win in the last race of the season.
 
 


Markus Winkelhock said, "Returning to TSS this year is something I'm eagerly anticipating. The racing series offers top-notch competition, and I can't wait to hit the track again. For me, one of the standout moments of the season will be racing at Bangsaen for the first time. A new racetrack is always exciting, and I have a soft spot for street circuits. Plus, racing with Absolute Racing is always a pleasure, especially after our recent win in the 12 Hours of Sepang.”
 


 
Team Director Ingo Matter added, "I am delighted to have Vicente and Markus back on the team. They had some good results last year, and I'm confident they will build on that in 2023. Vicente's remarkable progress last season leaves us very confident for the season to come, while Markus' unparalleled experience and race craft provide an invaluable asset to our team. The goal is to maximize every weekend and to go for the championship.”
