Double victory to start the season in Dubai: Walkenhorst Motorsport wins the first and second race of the 2023 Asian Le Mans Series in the GT class





The first race weekend in Dubai is a complete success for the Walkenhorst Motorsport team from Melle (Germany). Thomas Merrill sets the base for a sensational start into the Asian Le Mans Series 2023 by putting the BMW M4 GT3 on pole position for both 4-hour races during qualifying.



From here, Chandler Hull, Nicky Catsburg and Thomas Merrill drive the #34 to a double victory. Thanks to the pole position in qualifying and the victory on both race days,



Team Walkenhorst Motorsport leads the leaderboard for the 2023 Asian le Mans Series championship with 52 points. The entire team is now preparing for the next event at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
